ABOUT THE SUMMER PROGRAM
A two-week in-depth exploration of the fundamental principles of aviation from one of a select few FAA authorized programs on a university campus.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Both classroom instruction and hands-on field experience.
- A basic understanding of metal structures, composites, welding, machining, electrical components, and systems for those seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certificate.
- Exposure to the fleet of single-engine Piper Archers, and a twin engine Piper Seminole for flight training courses.
ABOUT ANDREWS UNIVERSITY (FLIGHT SCHOOL)
- Andrews has state-of-the-art flight simulators and flight training devices.
- Students can focus on Aviation Flight, Aviation Maintenance or both.
- The Flight and Maintenance degrees can be combined with a business degree as well as other dual majors.
- The median annual wage for airline pilots, copilots and flight engineers in the US is $202,180.
